Abstract
The present study is concerned with the syntheses and
the mechanisms of solvolysis of sulfonyl substituted methyl
esters of three different types of strong oxygen acids,
i. e . alkyl- and arylsulfonylmethylperchlorates, aryrsulfonylmethylnitrates
and arylsulfonylmethyl arenesulfonates.
These esters are readily accessible via the reaction of
an q-diazosulfone and the appropiate acid in an aprotic
solvent. The spectral data and some properties of these
types of compounds are discussed. ...
