Abstract
To invoke the voidability of (a clause in) a contract a party must take into account the statute of limitations, unless it invokes the voidability as a defense against a claim or other legal measure by the other party. This article explores this surprisingly complex distinction and offers a framework to handle these cases. The framework is subsequently applied to contract for lease of businees premises.
