Abstract
This study is about Radio Oranje (Radio Orange), the official broadcasting station of the Dutch government in exile during the Second World War. It describes the aims of Radio Oranje, the way these aims were pursued through its broadcasts, the limitations imposed on their execution and the impact of the broadcasts in the occupied Netherlands. The study is divided into three parts, each corresponding to the term of service of a different Radio Oranje chief.
