Abstract
The research showed that survival chances of Jews using an individual approach in the region under study was with about 10% half lower than was until now reported in literature (20%). The report also discusses in detail the appropriation of Jewish reals estates during WWII and the procedures afterwards to restore the original owners, though much more often their successors in their ownership. Especially, a lot of attention is given to those cases were the local government was involved in the acquisition of Jewish property.
