Abstract
The crystal structure of the enzyme rhodanese was determined some years ago by X-ray analysis at a resolution of 2.5 A (Ploegman et al, 1978 a,b).
The enzym is composed of 293 amino acis residues. Residues 1 - 142 and 157 - 293 are folded into separate domains, which although there is no significant sequence homology, have a very similar conformation. ...
