AGORA Magazine voor sociaalruimtelijke vraagstukken (ISSN 1380-6319) is a popular-science magazine that focuses on current developments in the field of spatial planning, urban studies, social geography and urban planning. The magazine is published in Dutch and its editors are generally based in the Netherlands and Belgium. The first magazine was published in 1984 by the Amsterdam-based research agency Strabo. Since 2000 it has been published by the independent Stichting Tijdschrift AGORA. The magazine appears five times a year in an edition of 1300 copies. The magazine is compiled by an editorial team of advanced students and PhD students from the fields of social geography, planning, urban sociology and architecture and young professionals from the planning and consulting world. The purpose of the magazine is to inform an audience of students, PhD students, academic teachers, policy makers, policy advisers and other interested parties about 'social-spatial' developments and trends in spatial research and policy.Periode | 9-dec.-2016 → 3-feb.-2020 |
