Description
Most organisms live in a social environment, and many aspects of their lives are affected by social interactions. Studying how ecological conditions affect cooperation and conflict between individuals is important for understanding life-history evolution, population dynamics and conservation. In this overarching presentation, we introduce and highlight the topics of this parallel session. We give illustrative examples of how ecological conditions shape different aspects of social behaviour in a wide variety of animals and highlight the importance of considering social behaviour in ecological studies.| Periode | 12-feb.-2020 |
