Learning community DOEN!: improving how professionals discuss needs and support regarding sexual and reproductive health and parenting with people with mild intellectual disabilities and psychiatric disorders

As part of the project DOEN! I organized a series of collaborative meetings with experts by experience, social workers, and medical professionals. These meetings serve as a platform where participants collectively delve into diverse perspectives and collaboratively seek solutions to complex issues. Within this dynamic learning community, contributors openly share their experiences and insights on how professionals can discuss matters related to sexuality, contraceptives, family planning, pregnancy, or parenting with individuals with a mild intellectual disability and/or psychiatric vulnerabilities. The aim is to foster a comprehensive understanding and explore effective strategies to address the unique challenges in discussing these intimate topics.
