First FSE Deeptech Pioneer Fellows selected

Description

This month, the first three FSE Deeptech Pioneer Fellows were selected from a pool of nine submitted proposals. The projects of the successful applicants—Dr. Tobi Schilling, Dr. Davide Carraretto, and Dr. Simranjeet Singh—range from a biobased food preservative to a novel protein-labeling system and new chip architectures for next-generation computing. Over the next year, they will work on developing an investor-ready business plan.

The committee, that consists of FSE professors, investors, and startup experts, was impressed by the many innovative ideas that were submitted.
