The PRISM (Psychiatric Ratings using Intermediate Stratified Markers) project is a major two-phase EU-funded research initiative that, by identifying quantitative biological features common across the diseases, aims to open the possibility of developing targeted treatments irrespective of traditional diagnosis. The project has the potential to change the way we think about mental illness, but what does it mean to researchers at different career phases?
