PhD project:  Quantitative genetics and genomics of senescence in the cooperatively breeding Seychelles warbler

There is huge variation in the onset and rate of senescence not only within individuals of the same population, but also across traits within the individual itself. Existing studies mostly quantified the variation in senescence, thus pathways through which variation arises are still unknown. Claire’s research aims to understand the causes leading to variation in senescence using the Seychelles warblers study system.
