Ellie Laetz has been awarded the 2024 JEB Outstanding Paper prize for her paper, ‘Critical thermal maxima and oxygen uptake in Elysia viridis, a sea slug that steals chloroplasts to photosynthesize’ (jeb246331). The team consisting of Ellie Laetz, Wilco Verberk at Radboud University and MSc students Can Kahyaoglu, Natascha Brogstein and Michiel Merkx have worked on the study for more than a year.
