This project uncovers the relations between Dutch, Arabs and Jews 100 years after the assassination in Jerusalem (June 1924) of the Dutch queer Jewish poet, writer and journalist Jacob Israel de Haan (Smilde 1881-Jerusalem 1924). De Haan durably impacted the links between the Netherlands, Palestine and Israel; this project (and the book and activities) revisit his Palestine years (1919-1924).
