Samenvatting

Material choice and design of microfluidic hanging-drop (HD) devices can strongly affect the performance and outcome of toxicological screening of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs). Here, we present a glass HD platform containing a parallel well-channel design with hydrophobic perfluoropolyether (PFPE) rings around the droplet wells for high droplet stability and an enhancing effect on EDC assay performance and analysis.
