Community of Practice Interdisciplinary Education

The CoP Interdisciplinary Education aims to provide a safe space where knowledge, experiment, views and practices regarding interdisciplinary education can be shared, in order to further and stimulate innovation and collaboration in interdisciplinary education. This is done by bringing together lecturers from different faculties, creating a breeding ground for knowledge exchange and new teaching collaborations that bridge faculties and disciplines. The CoP IE aims to achieve this mission by pursuing the following goals:
- support interdisciplinary education developments at UG by inspiring and supporting UG teaching staff
- facilitate professional development of teaching staff within the domain of interdisciplinary education
- optimize the visibility of initiatives in interdisciplinary education to the teaching-, student- and wider UG community
- nurture teaching initiatives that make the connection between interdisciplinary research and interdisciplinary education
- bridging between bottom up initiatives and policy developments at UG and inform policy making
