Samenvatting
In the project Curious Hands Vanessa van't Hoogt and Imka Buurke research ways in which making and its benefits can be moved from the fringes to the core of education. In teaching making it is of importance to balance guidance and structure with leaving space to explore. In this article the researchers illuminate their first findings of the two pilot studies at the workshops of Minerva Art Academy (Groningen, NL) and the E-labs in secondary schools in Groningen.
