Samenvatting

An increasing interest exists for active surveillance in men with small, localized, well-differentiated prostate cancer. Based on previous results from the European Randomized Study of Screening for Prostate Cancer, a prospective observational study called Prostate Cancer Research International: Active Surveillance (PRIAS) has been initiated in Rotterdam to validate this policy. The use of a website specially built for this purpose is of main importance in this study.
