Samenvatting

This article provides a description of changes in the Polish dismissal protection law since its transition from a former Soviet country to an independent country and a Member of the European Union. Furthermore, it analysis how the choice to not replace the dismissal law system, but only to amend it, has caused problems for current day practice.
