Samenvatting

In order to limit climate change and its impacts, it is critical to shift from fossil fuels to more sustainable ways of generating and using energy. Various energy projects have been proposed for the sustainable energy transition. These include projects aimed at reducing the use of fossil fuels, for example CO2 emissions from atmosphere, for example carbon capture and storage. However, such projects often face resistance from the public, who think that their important needs and values are neglected or violated by these projects.
