Samenvatting
The paper presents the IBS-CCSO quarterly macroeconometric model of the Netherlands. The model, a Keynesian demand system combined with a detailed description of production, financial sphere and government behaviour, is used for commercial purposes by an Amsterdam based brokerage film. The model's theoretical foundation, estimation and simulation is reviewed. Quality control of forecasting is essential in commercial exploitation and is therefore discussed in detail.
