Weak duality and the asymptotic determination of mass spectra

Samenvatting

A concept of «weak duality» is expounded according to which a generalized Regge-pole term is constrained to exhibit highenergy Regge behaviour in two different channels. It is shown that, if logA(s, t) has a uniform power bound ins, for allt, and ifA(s, t) is weakly dual, then the leading Regge trajectory and residue are asymptotically determined.
